By chipping in any amount to our campaign, you can help us reach new voters in Seminole County and spread our message about getting government to work for the taxpayers it serves.
Emily Duda Buckley was born and raised in Central Florida, where she learned early on the importance of community involvement and bold leadership. She studied at Florida State University, where she witnessed firsthand how government works - and how often it forgets about the people it's meant to serve. Duda Buckley became a Guardian Ad Litem in college and later a licensed foster parent. She continues her dedication to serving the community through
her involvement with the Florida Association of Foster and Adoptive Parents and the 4Roots Foundation, where she works tirelessly to provide resources to adoptive and foster parents, drive much needed change in our child welfare system, and increase access to healthy meals and agricultural education to communities in need.
Emily is running for State House to fight for struggling Floridians facing sky-high housing and insurance prices, rising costs of child and elder care, and a government that just keeps taking more and more - and she'll follow President Trump and Governor Desantis' lead by putting an end to the waste, fraud, and abuse that's causing it.
Emily Duda Buckley resides in Oviedo, Florida, with her two children, Jack and Keira June. House District 38 is located in Southwest Seminole County, including the cities of Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, and Winter Springs. Representative David Smith, who is term-limited, currently holds the seat.
